The Company
Casinos Poland Ltd. began its operation in 1989 - a year of enormous changes in the political, commercial and industrial life of Poland. One of these changes was the opening of a new gaming market. Casinos Poland was the first company to receive a casino operator's licence. The shareholders of Casinos Poland are - LOT Polish Airlines, State Enterprise Polish Airports and Century Casinos Poland Ltd., in which 100% of shares belong to Century Casinos .
The company operates seven casinos: two in Warsaw; one in Cracow; in Poznań; in Wrocław; in Gdynia, in Katowice, as well as Slot Arcade in Szczecin.
Despite strong competition, Casinos Poland continues to attain satisfactory financial results and enjoys 40% of the casino market share in Poland.
A basic ingredient for success is a good staff. Casinos Poland prides itself on its highly trained, very professional personnel (now 775 employees), but the company is still committed to improving both expertise and qualifications. Casinos Poland managers attend international instruction seminars and lectures relating to the gaming industry. This attitude to improving staff and the career structure offered to our employees are the main factors in creating a highly motivated team.
A high standard of professionalism coupled with excellent customer service has made the name of Casinos Poland synonymous with superior gaming entertainment. In 2009 over 330 thousand guests visited eight gaming centres of the Casinos Poland chain. The fact that 28% of the clientele are foreign visitors, who visit us whenever they return to Poland, is itself testimony to our reputation.
Internal gaming controls through modern CCTV technology make the casinos solid and safe. |
